THE SILK CITY, an opera

A new opera at its second performance  to be produced in the spring 2020 in Paterson,  celebrating a story of an impossible passionate love  between an Irish weaver and the daughter of a Silk Mill  owner  in the `Silk City` of Paterson during the tumultuous times of the Silk  Strike of 1913.

 Irish weaver and  union leader in the Hutchinson Mill, skilled weaver and devout socialist in love with  Evelyn, daughter of the Mill`s owner.
